Need Help With Selecting Radio

'91 SE

Bought car, didn't come with Bose radio. Want to get a radio from a salvage yard, and wondering if I can pull one from another make and model of car.
Can it be that I can pull a radio and speakers out of a newer car, too, and it work in my Maxima?

^what he said. A solid deck is worth a few bucks.
I've seen Pioneer DVD units for a hundred on craigslist.
Stock speakers are gonna suck compared to offering some coinage on quality components.
even if they only cost you $20, the stock pieces from most cars aren't worth $5
