how fast would i blow my eninge????????

ok NOS system by NOS. it's teh 300Z system, it's on a 4th gen right nwo but i can get the whole deal for around 350. the ENTIRE kit. it's a dual fogger system, he's got the 60 shot jets, big bottle, bottle heater, lines, whole deal. what i'm woderin is with 126k on my motor, how long would i have before it went BANG! 60 shot isnt HUGE but on an ageing high compression motor. . . .i dunno, just thought i'd check to see what you guys thought. .. .

your engine is very similar to a VQ in terms of what it can handle, and overall design..
compression ratios are the same.. fuel delivery systems are the same (injectors are same size, and fuel pressures are the same)..

the block is probably a bit stronger, since you've got cast iron instead of aluminum..

So for a 60 shot, I really wouldn't worry too much about it. install and run!

it shouldn't blow but...

You should have the ignition timing set at 15*BTDC before n2o use and use 1 step colder plug if possible. BTW Buy a walbro 255 or a Z32TT fuel pump NOW!. Nothing will kill the engine faster than not enough fuel pump to keep up with the n2o or boost. Consider buying an upgraded fuel pump as preventative maintence, otherwise all it takes is 1 use for the motor to run lean and blow a piston or 2.

Yeah, just Friday night you were tryin to get me to buy the thing, and now you're gonna run NOS???!! Look, 126K ain't sheet. I've got close to 180K and I'm not at all afraid of a 60 shot. If I had the money right now it would be done...

DO IT!! Do it and be my hero.
