i have been waiting for someone to make cf hoods for us for a long time. i would definitly be in if i had the money no too. this just came at the wrong time for me

 

tax return is what i haveta wait for too....but hopefully by now weve got 10 people....or if not now, we will have!!!

It looks like we're pretty close. I think we have about 8-10 people. I'm going to contact fiber images and tell them what's up. For all of you that are serious and can send the money, send it to me in either a cashier's check or money order. I will then combine all of the monies into one large cashier's check that I will send to the company. I'm pretty hell bent on having these hoods made so, let's keep this thread alive so that more people will buy in. Here's my address:

I'm gonna have to call fiber images to find out what the difference is. If you send $225 now, I'll put you down for a hood. I'll call fiber images before I send the money and ask how much a red carbon fiber hood will cost and I'll let you know. If you want to have it done, then I'll just tell them to include your hood in the order.

Is there a way to have a CF hood with some blue instead of red put into it? If so and there willing to do it i may be interested.

 

guys come on, you guys keep asking about colors and stuff.. if you want some blue.. or red or what ever.. thats where you go to a paint shop and ask them to tint the clear with what ever color u want.. then have them coat the hood with clear with what ever color tint u want

 

how bad would i get cracked on if i were to paint my hood black not to imitate carbon fiber but so i could put i a whit edecal on plus i think the contrast would b neat( ur goin to say why dont you jus get a cf hood i know)lol

Yes, there is a way to get a blue weave added into the carbon fiber. They use a carbon/ kevlar compound that has a blue, red or yellow color. They may offer more colors but these are the only ones I'm sure about. If you want this, it will cost more money. There is somebody else who wanted a red weave. I'm going to check the price on the upgrade and let you guys know. If you want you can send the $225 and then pay the difference upon completion. Here's my address:

what do you expect shipping to be? and you say 450 for the hood, is that for sure, or will they unexpectaldy up the price to something else? if it's 450+ shipping SOLID, expect me to jump on it.

oh also, do these hoods ocme with a clear coat? or do i need to do anything to make the hood look nice before I put it on my car?

 

good question is it just a straight swap on or do i need to do ANYTHING?? to it??
