tapping wire at ECU question

tapping wire at ECU question
well, i tapped a white wire...which i thought to be pin29 for my a/f, and i hooked the wire to my a/f and i had no readout.
the wire was white. i'm not sure how to count the ECU pins..do i count blank spaces, or only spots with wires coming out of them? do i start on the top row, count to the right, then continue counting on the bottom row on the left to the right again? or how does that work?

I sent ngthing a pic of the ECU connector and he found the right wire, if you need it, IM him and he can probably send it to you

it's pretty cool, though i think i'm going to buy an autometer a/f to repalce my current a/f since i already have the autometer voltmeter.
