New member with a few questions re. Bose system & suspension
Hello everyone!
I am the proud and very satisfied owner of a 94 Brougham bought new. I have been having problems lately with the rear suspension (Feels very harsh and loose. Any clue of what might be the problem
? Had one shock and two rear suspension links replaced last week and still not satisfied.
Moreover, my Bose system's sound went completely off. It started clipping off last winter in the cold and would eventually come back on. It was ok all spring, summer and fall. Now it's back to the same problem. Everything works fine but no sound! Has anybody had this problem before?

I had this problem with my system, rather than trying to fix it i just went ahead and bought a whole new system, speakers and head unit and it sounds great. Four Infiniti Kappas and a Pioneer DEHP6300 head unit and it sounds great, if you have the money I would reccomend that.

Hello there! Glad to see a fellow Canuck on the forum I'll try to help out but I hope you've taken the time to read the FAQs and stickies first - they can be very helpful to you and will keep the flames away.
I'm not sure about the suspension problem, but maybe you could give some more descriptions of the problem(s) and if you have any theories? Also, does your Brougham come with the electronic adjustable suspension (can't remember when or if they stopped making that)?
About the Bose stereo, it seems that failing Bose units are fairly common on our cars. Unfortunately I don't know about this since my car has a Clarion and works fine. I think there may be some info in some of the pages found in the "stickies" at the top of the page, but I think most people opt to replace the entire system.
