Tranny problem
Driving fine on the highway. Got on the GSP. Go to hit the gas to switch lanes and then nothing just revving. Now my question is should I just fix the A/T trans or swap it out for manual? Which would be cheaper?
it's a toss up...do you want to row gears?
you can generally get a rebuild on the auto for under 2000...downtime is about 2-3 days.
for the 5spd you can probably get all the parts for about 500ish (if you can find it). your labor cost will go up more since there's a lot of things that you need to do that's not just bolt on. down time will be a bit longer.
