Thoughts after a week with the VE

Ive had the car for a week now and besides a few problems
(bad clutch, something wrong with the rear suspension(blown strut?)and p!ss smell lol) I love this car. Mabey its because my gxe has lost some power, but this car has alot of power. The car really opens up past 3500rpms. Today I was running late to school and I was doing about 80 in 5th so I floor it and I was suprise that It had so much pull in that gear at that speed, i got to 100 in no time, I also dont even realize how fast im going sometimes, its scary, lol.(I think this may be because the layout diferance between my gxe speedo and my se speedo the 65 on the gxe is around where the 75 is on the SE)This is a great car (and the 5spd makes it that much sweeter)

I'll put it this way, I can never drive a vg again
I cant wait till I put my cat back on this Friday.
Just though Id share

the worst part for me is on the open highway..
in my old mitsu truck, it was a struggle to stay at 75..
the GXE cruised about 90 on the highway.. just stick your foot near the pedal and aim the car where it needs to go..

then I got my SE.. I got about 10 miles out of town and looked down at the speedo.. 115..

Hey, you'd better watch it or I might have to come to NY and put the smack down on that VEgo...
No, really I'm glad to hear that your VE project is turning out ok for you. I don't know about your rear strut or whatever, my guy said he can't really offer any more ideas about it than what I already had without actually hearing/seeing it.

Glad to hear the project is turning out for you. Once you get the big bugs squashed (and deodorized ) you'll really be riding high.

Welcome to the wonderful world of VE power!
