I have lifter chatter..so gonna pull the valve covers to see whats going on so figured I would replace the gaskets also..this is the gasket set that was given to me by the auto parts store..my max is a 92Se 5speed...my concern is the label has a diffrent model listed...but it(valve cover gasket set ) is what comes up in the computer..is it correct...?

95-2001 is the VQ engine, so I am pretty sure it's not the right one. I sort of doubt that the valve cover gaskets would be identical on completely different engines.

The part numbers get screwed up on the VE engine all of the time. I don't have the part number handy, but I had to go to a dealership after NAPA didn't have the right gaskets (even though their computers said they did). You might want to pull your front valve cover and just look to see if it works. The stock ones are thick rubber and easy enough to remove and replace, especially the front.

Since its a VE it's unlikely lifter chatter but the VTCs.
