Runnin NOS on stock engine, Safe? or Guarenteed Engine Failure?
Hey My friends dad is a mechanic and has worked on cars all his life. Also he has a 73 Chivelle that he drag races and he runs like a 600 shot of NoS on it so He knows a little about these things. He says that there should be no engine problems running a 75 shot of NoS on my engine as long as I dont do it all the time. I have a 93 GXE so its the VG engine. You think It would blow the engine to run that much NoS on it or would it be ok? This would be like using the 500$ Nitrous express kit.Opinions? Experiences?

Nope, The car can handle it, its built for running NoS, It has like a 15,000 dollar engine. Reinforce and stuff its a big block chevy engine. LIke I said this car is full drag not street. It has 1100 horsepower when running all the NoS. The NoS is set to go in when he is at full acceleration i.e. when the pedal hits the floor.
