Wierd *** problem

okay this is very very messed up and matt i know this has never been asked yet cause i checked
okay i dont know what is wrong with the car but tonight i realized that if i turn on my head lights and go driving my tranny does some wierd crap it down shifts if i even tap the brakes it downshifts if i put the hazard lights on or if i turn on my left turn signal, but the right one doesnt do this.
and then there is a thing with my left blinker if i have the headlights on and turn on the left signal it goes fine but if i push the brake it starts going really fast
the right side is perfect
anyone know what the hell this is??
as far as mods on the lights i did Craigs turn signal mod and thats it

Don't always expect your questions to be answered instantly. It's possible that no one has had the same problem or those who have/know aren't logged on now.

uhhh, I'd suspect a bad bulb somewhere..
usually the blinkers blink really fast when you've got a short or a burned out bulb. since it only happens when you hit the brake, I'd suspect you cut into the circuit that does the blinker/brakes on the taillights.
where did you cut into the wiring harness on the car to do the corner light mods?
try returning all the wiring back to original and see what happens.
I dunno what's casing the tranny to go nutz on you, but I don't think it should be related- unless you've got a short under the dash and melted some wires together- which I seriously doubt.. otherwise, you'd see smoke/fire in the car.
