but I don't have the maxima here yet and I don't know when the carrier will be able to pick it up either, due to the freezing weather and hazardous road conditions who knows when it will happen.

In the meantime I have added a few more parts to my collection. I sourced out a used replacement shifter assembly and bought a new shift rod support bracket from Courtesy Nissan. I am set up for a complete manual swap now minus a new clutch kit and trans axle seals.

I snagged the electric rear sunshade and parcel shelf from a 2000 Q45 and thought it would be a cool interior mod someday or maybe not. I also took some pics of the firewall on the 5 speed donor car while I was there and made a template from construction paper and I hope this will make it easier to cut the hole for the clutch pedal assembly in the correct place.

I've also been looking at wheel/tire combos. Tire rack does not have a good selection of 17" wheels but I did find a couple that might have looked good on a pearl white exterior. I've been looking on CL locally too, and recently looked at a set of 6 spoke wheels from a 2003 maxima. I really don't want anything larger than a 17" diameter.

Don't think I will bother using the supplied rolls of tape when I install the body kit, think it's best to get some new stuff.
