transmission studs on bell housing

i took this engine and transmission out together on 1993
its been 6 months since i got back to this project.....when i attempted to put
the transmission back onto the new engine i cannot see or remember where the two lower stud bolts on the bell housing connect to?
everything else fits no problem flywheel, torque converter, even the cover plates....
since the two studs are on the lower part of the transmission bell housing, could they be for a mount?

i am missing something and i am stuck........
i knew i should have taken pics but i didnt...ANYONE have a pic or schematic of this section of the transmission to engine.
the manual i have is garbage, but i dont see where this attaches to?????????
any help please,thanks!

I'll have to look for a picture but hopefully my description will jog your memory. There are two metal brackets that bolt to either side of the engine on the lower, trans side. They bolt to the block with 2 (on each side) short but thick bolts (like 10 or 12mm thread, but only about an inch long) and they each complete the bottom half of the trans frame. Each has a hole that accepts the lower studs coming from the transmission.

iirc, the very bottom 2(which are studs and nuts, just hold the flat plate AND a copper colored bracket that bolts to the exhaust, maybe to the heat shield part but with a warpspeed y pipe or missing heat shield, well youll see.

That barb under your throttle body runs to the smaller port on the charcoal canister that's under the battery/drier area of your engine bay.

I'm not sure what you mean by the other vacuum connection on top of bellhousing - got a pic?

That looks like an autotragic transmission to me so I can't say for sure but I suspect it may just be a vent port. The manual transmissions have a vent port on top. Neither of my VE's are autotragics so I can't confirm for you

It's just a breather vent. There should be a hose about a foot long that connects to it.

Yes, just don't turn on the A/C. Then again, the low pressure switch on the dryer should tell the A/C computer not to try to kick on the compressor so you should be OK in any case.
