Budget Y-pipe for VE?

There are like 23 pages to that y-pipe post. Do they make a different y-pipe for the VE engine? Anyone have it and got some input on it? If not i guess ill get the WSP one in the future.

As far as I know, they don't make different pipes for the VG and VE. I stopped calling them about 2 months ago since they seemed to be making pipes only for the VQ's. If you call them they'll probably answer your questions though.

If budgets Y pipe is the same for both VG and VE then i would advise on buying a WSP one instead, there are fitment issues in both engines and need to buy a pipe designed for your engine type....

i believe there is 2 different y pipes for 3rd gens on WSP, im not sure though. there is a picture of a third gen y pipe and it says "VG version" on it, so i would think so.

Aright i get it im getting a WSP. Now which one do i want? Aluminized, mig or tig. Does anyone have better performance or is it just quality of the product. I simply want some power and not a big hole in my pocket, but i want it to last and not break or rust out. What do u guys run and suggest i get?

Supposidly the non-madrel bent pipe performs close to that of the mandrel bend and runs cheaper........either way your getting rid of the restrictive flow from the stock y which means HP gains............

WSP y-pipes

When we first started making y-pipes, we thought we could get by with just one jig for both the vg and ve engines, but there are subtle differences. Luckily I have a ve and so we have got the fit down pretty good. BTW even the same will pipe fit on 2 different cars will fit a little different. You would think that all vgs or ves would fit the same, just not so.
My opinion is that the mandrel bent y-pipe in aluminized is the best deal out there. Performance for $225, and it comes with our 4 year rust through warrenty. My original muffler system was still functioning after 7+ years when I removed it.

We appreciate your support. Dallas and I work on Maxima stuff daily. We have a bunch of new ideas for the Maxima that we are working on. Please don't hesitate to send us your ideas. Maximamike did and now we are offering subframe connectors.

One thing about WSP products. Is you get quality, and great customer service. At an affordable price. What other companies are on the board posting? Well, that are really trying to help. And not just make a sale.
