Hi Matt, I checked out your site in the past and was impressed with some of the parts you made. I have an addco rear sway bar and it looks like were it bolts to the frame it appears to have polyurethane bushings and a solid link but the rear swabar links would be good aswell so it's solid there too. I would also like to put a ground wire kit on it. I found a member here selling one but he doesn't respond much. I have a 92 gxe VG. I've done alot of work to. If you have anything that would help for my application on the VG that would be great. As well if you have anything you think I may be interested in pm me and let me know. Thanks

Heh... Yeah, no materials left in my pile to make the ground kits or sway bar links..
I know I have a set of parallel links out there and possibly a LTB, but that'll likely be it. (all the high dollar pre-fabbed stuff I couldn't use up somewhere else)

Hi Matt, pm me with some pics and how much for the parallel links. Would I need to get the bushings for them? What are the LTB?

Hey Matt, by any chance would you have a RSTB laying around?

his links replaces the stock pieces with heim joints...no more rubber bushings.

the LTB is the lower tie bar that connects the lower control arms together and reduces ground clearance at the same time

Thanks DanNY, In your opinion is that a better mod than a LSTB and if the clearance is lower i'd assume there would be more chance of scraping? The parallel links for the back looks like they'd be a good thing to swap.

no RSTBs left. long gone, nobody willing to make the brackets in small enough quantity to make it worth my time.

the LTB lowers ground clearance about an inch right between the front wheels. the only time I had issues scraping it was when I was doing something stupid while driving, and my car was pretty low.

NismoChi, the smaller joints on the radius rod are 1/2" rod ends, the larger ones on the parallel links are 3/4". You can buy rod ends of your choice from any vendor you choose.

The ones I used were QA1 2-piece PTFE/Kevlar lines. link to Summit's site for them here:

Hey Matt long time... haven't been on here in ages.... I recently had a death in the family came home and still sitting in the back of the driveway was my maxima, haven't started it in a few years maybe. No **** I put my brother's spare battery gave it a jump and maybe second try it turns over... it ran like utter garbage but I can't believe it still ran gotta love the old maximas. I've since moved on to a Lexus IS350 but I would love to have the time to play with it again.

What do you think of your Lexus?

I bought a 2010 IS250 a few months ago and I'm sorry I did.

Mistake was getting the 250... the 350 is a different car all together the only problem in the northeast winters and real wheel drive make the car a pain, but its something I can live with. You car gets much better gas mileage then mine so that is nice, I just had a new CT hybrid as a loaner when I got an oil change I didn't want to give it back it was getting 40+MPG and still drove and had the features of a Lexus.

The 250 is an under powered pig and on the highway it is constantly downshifting to go up minor rises in the road.

But it is a tiring car to drive. The steering is stiff and does not want to return to the straight ahead position when you just slightly turn the wheel. And the ride quality - well, I've had better rides on farm tractors.

I've had it back to Lexus several times as it is still under warranty and they always say there is nothing wrong and that's the way it is designed. Any time you need a special wrench to change the oil, you know you've made a mistake.
