exhaust

I want to make my max sound like a beast. what should i do to the exhaust to make it sound loud, but not like sh**?? My roomie said to put glass packs or cherrybombs on it. What's this all about?

if you want to go deaf then go for that. if you can spend about 500 dollars then get a greddy cat back otherwise just get a muffer like arospeed (i have this one) you can get a tuneable one. there are so many out there that you can get . but try going for the greddy cat back. sounds great and give some horse power too. good luck

how much was just hte muffler?

You can just get a decent muffler for under $200. I'd do that, and then to make it sound a little beefier cut off the resonator and the cat. This will make things a little louder and increase towards your hp gain.


92GXE, touring wing, 18” racing wheels, Port&Polished intake, custom intake, custom yellow interior, racing seats, back seats taken out and replaced with subs and amps, NOS kit, Suspension tech. Lowering springs, custom grille, soon to be custom painted and have the whole engine rebuilt for big shot NOS and custom SC and tranny converted to 5-speed.
