A follow-up to AC settings thread
Slider is all the way to the right. Why is my AC blowing colder air when the fan switch is set to Low 1, 2 or 3 and AC blowing warmer air when when the fan switch is set to high 4.
Thanks in advance,

The slider switch has two contacts, the obvious fan speed contact, PLUS a contact that turns the A/C on. You can probably slide the switch back and forth rapidly to clean the crud off.

After reading the post above, I remember now I had a problem in one of my old VE's that on "4", it was not making proper contact and would turn off the AC.
Slide your switch to 3 or 4 or whatever is giving you issues and keep an eye on the AC button. I bet you the green light is shutting off. If so, just change the position of the lever ever so slightly one way or the other until you get the green light to come back on. On my old car, I had to basically set the slider about between "3" and "4" for it to make full contact and not shut off the compressor.

I've always had this problem since the day we bought it back in 1990. We've always just put it on fan 3 and haven't had a problem. It is most likely the slider has some grease or crap on there that's preventing it from kicking on.
