Leather seats, please help

I have a 1991 maxima GXE that I'm trying to find seats for. I'm really trying to breath new life back into my baby. It's my dream car believe it or not. But my seats are shot! The 2 front seats have ripped leather and the majority of the foam is missing and the back seat is ripped. Does anyone have any idea where I can find new seats for my car online? I've searched ebay and the junkyards and noone freakin' has them in Connecticut they're impossible to find around here , I even searched craigslist from '89 to '94. I cant find crap. Somebody please tell me where I can find them for this car. And I definitely dont want to do racing seats but I'll settle for basic looking leather seats, Only thing is I dont want to lose my powered seat functions... Can anybody help..? Anybody at all..? Any advice is greatly appreciated thank you.

Black or tan?

I have a brand new OEM GXE black leather rear seatback I would be willing to sell. I mean brand new. Soft as baby's skin.

Crap! dude I appreciate it, I really need the front though. They're torn up, it's embarassing. I'm just happy I got tints. And they're grey oddly enough. that's why if you had a full set I wouldve hopped on it.

I know bro I tried that though. I went to the auto upholstery shop just to check it out. You know what that scumbag quoted me for?? $950 a seat.. for vinyl.. lmaoooo. He was like "Here take my card & let me know.."
I flung that card out my window as I was driving away. I said heck no this dude lost his mind. smh

Leather for the 3rd gens can be very hard to find. I was actually thinking about swapping my cloth for leather. Though my cloth seats are in mint condition i kind of liked the leather but they're too hard to find. Your best bet is to swap for cloth if you can settle for them and they're much easier to find. Then just have them detailed which by the sounds of it is waaay cheaper then having them reapolstered or another option is find an older infinity j30 with leather if you can. I believe those seats will fit with no issues aswell.

I picked up a set of skins from Leatherseats.com years ago. Hands were flipping sore for days but it was new leather on the seats and fits pretty nice. If you want check them out and see what they offer. Its real leather.

I might have to look into that j30 situation.. worst comes to worst ill probably have to try your first idea. its just that 3rd gens are so hard to find in junkyards in connecticut. it's like honda world over here. You need a part for a civic, you find it with no problem. maximas are a diamond in a ruff.

Pick up a cloth seat and pull the cloth. Those seats should be a dime a doz now. Once you got the cloth off hog clip the leathers on.

Doesnt sound like too bad of an idea. does it end up coming out lookin pretty decent? Ever done it before?

it looks good...but it REALLY depends on the skill of the installer. if you don't make the effort and get it smooth then you'll have wrinkles and etc.

i've installed it...my hands were definitely cut up and blistered afterwards.

What do you mean ribbed? It's smooth but has the GXE seam pattern

I think he means ribbed by asking because the 89 and 90 GXE's had the smooth velour type material and the 91-94 GXE's had the "ribbed" type cloth with lines in it. But the stock leather seats are the same as you say, I have seen aftermarket leather seats in them that are ribbed though! :-)

Trying to find leather seats for these cars is nearly impossible nowadays. Ive been lucky enough to find the front leather seat skins at the junkyard for $20 in nearly perfect condition but now im in search for the rear seat skin.
