needed

third gen upper seat portion of seat, my support broke on my drivers side seat and I need a new seat, I only need the upper part, preferably black leather but will take any color as long as it matches the pattern which ill post later. I am going to post this in the wanted forums so cool down before you decide to flame me (people with nothing better to do.)

Right now im proping the seat up with a piece of wood and it looks real ghetto so any help asap would be good.

you can pick them up at a junkyard for not a lot of $$.
upholstery shouldn't matter much, as they're pretty easy to pull the old covers off. you can just switch the covering over to the new seat if yours is in good shape.

but my old seats have big bumps ans part of the patern, do you think an upolstry place could switch the ols seat with the new leather(just the top part) or if the cover comes off easy enough could i do it?

btw I did the thing with the bleach you told me, worked like a charm.

Well you'd still have to remove the seat covers to have it welded, and welding may or may not fix the problem. it's a crapshoot there.

But any upholstery shop should be able to remove the seat covers without damage. you can probably do it yourself too. I know the katzkin seat covers are a DIY job, and the OEM ones won't be too different.

hmmm, just noticed something.. look at all our sig files.

lol

yeah I noticed that before, i was like damn my pic go smaller. I like the red but ill take my lexus diamond pearl over it any day.

hey matt let me bounce something off of you, when my exhaust guy was doing my cat back he took off the old piping and muffler in two pieces, they are in perfect condition, then he said since I havent sold my gxe he would take off my 2,1/4" piping and muffler and put the SE piping and muffler on ther and also fix the exhaust stud to get rid of the ticking. He said leave the car there for a week or two and in his spare time he would do it, he told me he would give me a definite price when He saw it probably around $500.

now I know its alot to spend on a car im selling but That ticking is a major turnoff for people,(most think its the engine) and if i spend $500 i may be able to sell it for a $1000 more.

I was reading the exhaust stud stickey the other day and most people paid less than $500 but hes also going to put the SE exhaust on.
what do you think? go for it or not.?

I say go for it. either that or do the exhaust studs yourself. they're not too terribly hard.

Did that happen to the seats you were going to send me?
(Don't erase this Matt)
Or did it happen to your new seats? If it happened to your new ones, can you get ahold of that chick and let her know what happened or did it happen during your swap?
