Is it possible to swap a later model 6-speed transmission into this car with the vg30. If it is possible let me know of what year and model car I can get a transmission from to get.

nope, only other trans you can use is a VE30DE manual trans and you have to swap over axles and other stuff. VQ transmission wont bolt up to a VG

which? VE manual trans im pretty sure you dont need an adapter plate. VQ trans on a VG i dont know how you would make the axles and stuff work even past the adapter plate issue

He meant the adapter plate for the VQ trans. VE bolts up.

I'm being a smart a$$! But if you had an adaptive plate between the VG and the 6 spd M/T....I' m sure the VE30 and VQ inboard driveshaft are the same splines but the different length unsure but The Driveshaft Shop can build Hybrid axles! Anyway I found 3 M/T in the junkyard yesterday.... VG30 3rd Gen, VQ30 4th Gen, and 5th Gen. I'm eager to swap the 4th to a M/T but I like cruising that A/T alot....
