water on passenger side carpet
I was going to say your only culprits would be heater core or evaporator box. Though I assume you're not running your AC in early February. But the "lower sections" wording confused me.
If it's your heater core that sucks because that's not a fun job. The whole dash has to come out to do the heater core. I've had my dashes out half a dozen times so they're fairly easy for me now but still no fun

To avoid that, I did a heater core bypass, since I did not have the time to replace the heater core. Before then, I became too familiar to the smell of coolant, and I put towels on top of the ECU.
What do you mean won't need AC till June? Your AC is irrelevant to your heater core.
Actually the dash is the easy part. The extra irritating part is that big center support beam needs to come out (or at least loose enough to move) as well as the much of the crap attached to it

heater core time, I got an oem one from the junkyard that was in pretty good condition. I never did a heater core job in my life but the price the mechanics were charging here was outragous and I needed heat for the crazy winters here. So i took the time to remove the dash and everything attached to it. With the help of the org, I managed to do it in less than a day. I didnt have to remove the steering wheel or the center beam. Saved myself about $600.
