actually if you open up the guage cluster, there are clear plastic pieces in front of wehre the bulbs go that help diffuse the light and try to spread it out (or at least that's true for my SE gauges)

also, the stock ones are not LEDs, they are "lamps" or just bulbs
I know ngthing probably does have LED now since he replaced them but I just wanted to clear that up for people talking about stock lighting

but anyways the blue "condom" thing isnt to make it blue. It makes it more pure white, almost like hyper white. I just did my friends 96 SE blue and its way different. if you put the stock light in without the blueish cover it will look like a regular light(like your dome lights) blue makes a huge differance. anyways heres a pic of mine.(sorry about the quality but I didnt want it to be too big)

I ordered the 194's from NOPIonline for $1.15 each but they do not have them in stock so I must re-order in about 20 days they said. After reading this board I might go out and find some for like $20.00 or something. I mean really, does price make a difference? No, it really doesn't. Some companies jack up their prices to make you think, damn these must be the best. Then when you get them, they ain't $h!t !! In 20 days, I will re-order the $1.15 194's and let you all know what the hell it looks like, DAMN. Can't we all just get along?????? I had a website with a forum kinda like this. I had to shut it down because the members starting acting worse then my kids. Everyone has their opinion. No one is an @$$hole or a j@ck@$$ or anything else.
