1989 Nissan Maxima Brakes stuck on

Alright guys. I have a weird brake issue. It started with my tail lights not coming on, found out it was a brake light switch. Replaced that, confirmed I had brake lights. Didn't touch the car for a day. Went to work Monday and the car started really bogging down. Barely made it home. I came home and test drove it to find that my front brakes would stick on after about 10 minutes of driving. The brake pedal would slowly get stiffer and stiffer. After I let the car sit for a day, I came home and all worked as it should for about 10 minutes, then the front brakes locked up again. To the point of the car not even being able to roll. If I pull the vacuum booster hose of the brake booster, it will all work fine. That may point to a bad booster, but with me swapping the brake switch and now having a problem, could a brake switch cause this? Is there a sensor on that? I just ask because I've had weird electrical problems with this car before.

tl;dr
Brakes stuck on after swapping brake switch, brake pedal slowly gets harder over about 10 minutes. Brakes will release if I pull vacuum hose off brake booster. Maybe bad brake switch?

UPDATE: I think I may have solved the issue. I noticed that if I screwed the brake switch in, it pushed my brake pedal in. So I unscrewed the brake switch to the point that it barely pushed the pedal. Drove it for about 20 minutes with heavy brake use and no issues

yup...basically you're not letting the pedal go all the way and eventually it builds enough pressure in the pedal and you're basically full lock.
