Anyone ever swap out their power window module due to windows having a mind of their own? I've been noticing at times when starting the car the passenger side window has been going down by itself. Its obviously not the motor or regulatir because both the master switch and passenger switch will put the window back up. It only seems to happen one time then after putting it back up everythings fine and it doesn't happen consistantly. I had a friend tell me he once had to replace his module which was causing his windows and sunroof to open even after the car was off. He'd go out to the parking lot after work to find the windows down. I will probably see if i can find it in the fsm but does anyone know off the top of their head where the module is located? As of yet ive never had to swap one but i figure if i can find a spare it doesnt hurt to try swapping it to see if its an issue.
