Is this safe???

My school is having a car show in March and some of my friends told me it was safe to take my springs out for the show so my car will be lowered. My school is about 5-10 min away and its mostly straight road. What am I risking by doing this and do you guys think its safe?

Thanks

What are your friends thinking by even putting tha idea in your head. Think about it no springs = no struts so how would your car move first of all?? just my 2 cents

depends what "safe" means! Safe for your suspension? No. Safe for you? Yes if you drive really slowly like a comatose grandma. The suspension would be riding on your bumpstops, so a few rubber bumpers would be your "springs"!

Safe? Maybe. Dumb? Yes!

Oh, and I agree with what N34JZ said. Never be afraid to find out first!
