My freind has a alarm problem!

I drive his car all the time and for no reason the alarm activates and gos off while driving. the other night I was getting out and it went off again!! The funny thing is he used to have a Viper alarm system with the keyless entry and it started going off and never would stop so he had to rip the wires out right there in the parking lot for the alarm bullhorn speaker. he than finally got it to stop and through away the remote but the factory alarm gos off for no reason still

Re: My freind has a alarm problem!

kinda funny really. my friend had a horn problem and every once in a while he'd be sitting there at an intersection and it'd start blasting away at everyone. finally he ripped the front of the steering wheel off and rigged it so he had to touch 2 wires together to make the horn go off. so sometimes we'd sit there and play songs with the wires. guess you hadda be there.

Sorry Jon, not much advice to give. Not sure what would cause the alarm to go off while the car's driven though.... Maybe some kind of weird short in the alarm module that arms and set it off?
