Engine Miss and error code 13

Hi guys

trying to decipher what I can google but most only give half the details so..

I have a 91 Maxima,. Overnight it went from running beautifully to having a bad miss and lack of power. I put in new, plugs, wires, rotor and cap (needed them anyways) and miss continued.

I went tot he ECU and pulled the code and it came up with 13.

I googled 13 and it came back with Cylinder Head Temperature Sensor.

Where is it on the VG30? I have found instructions on the Coolant Temp Sender and CHTS and some saying they are the same referring back and forth to each other.

So where is it?

Question 2 - how do you clear the codes on the ECU?

and Question 3, is there a proper connection port for a scanner?

Thanks guys.

Download the FSM from Nico Club (or elsewhere if you know the source) and read the diagrams for the location of that sensor.

Coolant/head temp sensor is behind the passenger side of the upper intake manifold. To clear the code you need to do it manually with a small flathead screw driver on the **** on the ecu. Check the fsm to learn the procedure and it's a consult which is pre obd2 so finding a scan tool would be tough so your just better off reading the flash codes. The cel will go on just due open or short circuits.
