I'm pretty sure that nobody makes a RSTB.
They do have rear sway bars though; I think suspension techniques and addco have those

Nowhere to put it

The rear strut towers in the 3rd gens are right behind the rear seatback, intergrated into the rear speaker shelf. this makes a RSTB impossible since the rear shelf is in effect its own RSTB.

not totally impossible but hard as hell to customize...it would probably involve some cutting...im not about to try it cause the benefit might not be worth all the labor to do it...plus there is a metal bar right behind the seat about 2' down from the rear deck that is pretty sturdy...

I got one put in...I had the local import shop get a suspension techniques RSTB and use a cutter to shorten it to fit my max(i think it was a acura legend RSTB?). This did require the permanent removal of the back seats though. (oh well!) They charged me $160 for the bar and $450 labor to put it in. The labor was a *****! Tons of headaches! It was a massive headache, and I don't recommend getting it because I really didn't notice a whole lot of difference in high speed corners. If you have the cash, then do it. The Import shop (A.S.P. Imports) had my car for 3 (i think maybe 4 days) because they kept calling me and asking what they wanted to do when they ran into problems (such as stated in an earlier post) that the stereo "shelf" was in the way. With them figuring out a way to do this, they finally got it installed. But as far as I know, no one makes one for the 89-94 max's. Try the sway bars. That's my next mod and I'll tell you how that turns out.

yeah probably...but i didn't know that the labor was going to be that high for the install. they were all sure of themselves when they did it and told me that it would be like 100-$150 max for the labor. Well, obviously I'm pissed at them, but it's the only import shop in town, so i really didn't have a choice. (could have chose NOT it get it installed) When I went to pick up my car, they're like "Well, sir, we're sorry to inform you that the labor will be more than anticipated"...you know what I was thinking? "@#!$@%!@$#%$#@$$!!!" That's right! But I paid the price for it, not getting much of a handling increase, and hope that no one else has ever (or WILL ever) do this because it is stupid, expensive, and useless. I still ask myself that question to this day "Why the HELL did I do that?"
