Do you want to stay SOHC?

You'll need to stroke the motor using a crank to make it about 5.7 liters, and raise the compression to 10:1. Then put on an intake and exhaust. That should get you there. Or you could just bolt in an LS1 motor from a Firebird T/A or Camaro SS.

you dont need 300 hp to beat a taurus...

and it is hard to get a VG max to 300hp...very hard.

and i seriously doubt this is a taurus SE, because if it was you would whoop him by about a bajillion car lengths, so if it is you must have something wrong with yourself.

i would think it would be a SHO, if it is then you are not going to beat him, unless you can get your VG to run very low 15's which might cost alot.

but if it IS an SE, then go get a tune up or do something, you should be taking the taurus no prob.

That is the funniest thing I've heard all year! While you're at it, why don't you strap on a phantom jet engine? You'd better start saving your money, kid! Please, go get a tune-up and read the MaxFAQs. They'll tell you everything you want to know; maintenance, specs, etc. Also, buy an owner's manual for your car. Once you get to know the car a little better, you'll see why everyone laughed so hard at your first post! Good luck destroying that cli-taurus!
