Missing Fuse Box Cover

Need help finding out what the removed fuse is for. It is a 45amp fusible link located on the left side of the battery. I am also missing the cover as well (need a replacement if anyone has one) It has power from the battery with key off. The only thing that is not working is the power locks but have the clicking under the dash. Thanks in advance.

Not sure about your fuse as i dont have my 3rd gen anymore to check. If your interested i have a complete factory electrical book and i also have a factory service manual for both vg and ve. As for your power locks the power door lock module you here the clicking from is under the drivers side dash above the pedals. Trace the clicking, remove the module and slide the board out of it. Most times re soldering the bad solder points on the back of the board will fix your power door lock issue. If your not good with a soldering iron get someone who is but it really isn't too difficult. If your interested aswell I have a box full of relays and some of those fuses.

Update..I believe the blown fuse FL45A is for the Radiator fans... using the schematic in my Chiltons (definitely need the FSM) checked everything including relays to fans. Fan1 is inoperative...

Found this link in another thread to perform fan test.

Let me know if you got your door lock module soldered up. Otherwise I may be able to send you a working one with the fsm if your interested pm me and maybe we can work something out. I probably have the fuse your looking for too. Also come to think of it if you've checked over all the circuits your fan issue could be due to the coolant temp sensor as it has a lot of influence on the fan operation.
