passenger side mirror 'short circuit'?

Hi Guys...
Tonight with the temperature in the 50s degree...the passenger side mirror 'glass' felt extremely warm? The car had not been driven today. Thinking electrical short as a cause as the door was serviced recently when the power window assembly had been replaced...and perhaps a couple wires may be crossed? Thanks in advance

This may be a silly question but did you check the little mirror defrost button to make sure the button is not pressed in? There's a little red light on the button though they can burn out.

Just curious Starrider but was you mirror defrost button left on? If for any reason you feel you need or want any side mirrors let me know. I have a set for sale. I believe I have a switch or 2 too.
