WSP Y-PIPE does it relly work?

Im thinking about buying a WSP Y-pipe, and the guy on the phone told me that it adds 15 hp. Personaly, i find that hard to believe. Does anybody have one? Is it worth the $205? I would like to learn from others mistakes...or their victories.

get it, combined with an intake, you will notice a HUGE difference with the y-pipe. i have considered this mod for my car but i don't know how much longer i'm gonna keep it. if i decide to keep it, the y-pipe would definatley be my next mod. best bang for your buck on our cars.

Also, I have a gutted cat with the empty housing and a Borla high flow muffler, will cause a problem?

why did you gut your cat???
You should just replace it with a better flowing one that still maintains healthy backpressure.

backpressure=torque
Ask any muscle car tuner. Besides, it's illegal everywhere I know to run with a gutted cat and diminishes the daily dirveability of your car.

Well said! For me, it shaved off .36 from my 1/4. I felt the extra power instantly. YES, the WSP Y-pipe is worth every penny. This mod is the best bang for your buck. I have no complaints at all.

I believe WSP claims about 12 added HP over stock, with no exageration.

I think you'll actually like this (since you've got a Borla!), but many people have reported a marked increase in exhaust noise when adding a aftermarket Y-pipe to a modified exhaust. Just FYI

You make the call.......

here look

http://images.cardomain.com/installs...742_6_full.jpg

top is a WSP ypipe..

bottom is Stock..

look at the restrictive design of the stock pipe... it sux and actually tries.. to get flow.. FLOWING BACK INTO The engine.. so yah..... any thing is better than stock.

Very true. I'm adding an o/r h pipe to my Stang, and will have to make up lost torque with methods other than exhaust. =]
