Hey everyone, I was hoping anyone could help me figure it out since I was rebuilding my 5spd tranny on my 93 SE since I had a leaky input shalf seal. As I have the service manual and went through the details. I took it all apart and replace all applicable seals, however after I was reassembling it and the Reverse Gate that is bolted where the mechanism go to the gear, My question is how that lever behind it where there's a check ball in, how do they go in with the lever part, I can not find anything online nor in the FSM service all it just show a diagram of what makes up the part but not how it reassemble back in. Anyone shed some light if anyone have done it before .

 

Did you get this fixed up? Did you see my thread here? I don't remember if I had pictures specifically of the reverse gate deal. I also don't remember having any problems with it so I couldn't describe it offhand, especially given that it's been some years and my memory is bad.
