Smoked clear corners

Hey everybody, this is my first post after reading the boards for months. Just have a question on if anyone has tinted or smoked their clear coner lights. I want to do the e36 conversion, but personally I feel it just doesn't look right with the bright white clear corners. Anyone got any advice on smoking or tinting them. My last option would be to import the euro clear corner lights, they look the best but I dont want to spend all that money.

You could probably just add a small thin layer of black paint to them?

search for this on the board (link is in top right corner)

brandon90gxe did it with his bmw lights and it turned out really well
he used some translucent spray from japan specifically made for tinting lights but still allowing light to pass through
he has lots of pics but I'm not sure where exactly but you should be able to find them easy enough

good luck
