VG turbo problems?

im going to go through with a custom turbo on the vg if there arent gonna be any problems...

sorry about making another thread but i searched alot of threads and came up with mixed answers.

so is the compression really too high? ive heard that the compression is too high and it isnt safe to go over 6 psi. is this true?

VG is 9:1 CR (correct me if I'm wrong)
VE is 10:1 CR

Somebody on this board is running 15psi on his vg.
j30_vg30et:
I'm running 15psi on 91 pump with a bone stock VG and no problems.

All I have to say, if you have to ask such questions about turbo'ing your car.. especially on a forum like this.. your gonna have problems running your turbo right.

Do some more searching. stock VG block and heads are capable of over 10 psi if tuned right.
