I have round ones that are clear but that doesn't sound like what you're talking about. What BMW are they on?

I got it for $7800. It needs some work though. The others that I saw were closer to $10-11K.

sorry man. i didnt get a chance to do it over break. so no pics. i spent my entire spring break in the computer lab working a some stupid project nice spring break,huh . this semester is killing me. ill eventually get a chance to do it tho. as soon as i do ill post it.

i thought they were gonna be the kind that you can just drill a hole to install them, but theyre not. anyone know the exact dimensions of the rectagle that is cut in the fender in the bmw? i dont wanna cut a rectagle that is too big and the fitment be all sloppy.

 

oh yeah, i was going to cut the hole 2 1/4" width X 5/8" height. anyone with a beemer wanna clarify this for me before i start cutting things up.

 

yeah i picked up the same lights but my doesn't come with the wires. Does anyone know where i can go to get the wires for my side markers?

 

any electrical store...try a radio shack or osmethin

 

i know it doesn't take a rocket scientist to drill a whole in your fender and hook up the wires to your turning signal. However can someone please be nice and do a write up in how to install side markers for idiots like me. This is afterall making holes in your car, so i guess i would rather do it right the first time then messing it. I know there are sites out there telling you how to do it, but those are on other cars. I need one for the maxima, god knows what kind of difference are there between the maxima and the other caars.

I've seen plenty of info posted here
if you cant manage to find that, do some searching on www.google.com
drilling is the same, you only need to hook up 2 wires, blinker signal and ground
if you look at the how-tos on my page for corner light rewire, you can find many different ways of wiring it up

oh i have nothing wrong with the actual setup cuz i know how to do it. but the question at hand is how do i get to the signal wires. Do i have have to take out the wheel well wall or is there a faster way.

 

I would assume so, it's easy enough anyway, just a couple screws here and there.
Drill your hole, then pull the 2 wires out of the hole and connect them to the sidemarker.
Then push the wires back in and mount the marker
