Is every part universal for maxima's 89-94?

I found a few cars and was wondering if all the parts are interchangable.. which parts cannot be interchanged? Also are ALL the body parts interchangable?

all the body parts should be interchangeable, there are 2 different engines that came in third gen maximas, the VG that came in all 89-91's and in 92-94 gxe's, and the VE that came in 92-94 SE's. the engine parts are only interchangeable if they are the same motors.

not all body parts are interchangeable. I know for a fact the mirrors are different for 89 and 90 than they are for 91+.

same bolt pattern, but the shape is different.
The sheet metal is the same on all of them though.
the black dash pieces are different between 89-91 and 92-94.

other parts that are different, you'll just have to ask about which ones..

if it's something readily available at a junkyard, look at car-part.com and do a nationwide search on the part. if they only come up on certain model years, then they're a specific part. other stuff (like sheet metal) will show up with all 89-94 models.

also, the trim on the SE taillights (well on everything i think) is black, and the trim on the GXE taillights is silver, so if you were looking for those it would make a difference.

Also note that there was a mild change in 92, so some 89-91 parts (like under the hood, interior) will be different while others will just look different. Also note some chassis parts are different from the GXE to the SE (like the bushing durometer in the control arms, etc).

Like Matt said, you kinda have to take it on a case-by-case basis, but sheetmetal should be all good.
