hey flyry

try a search newbie!
I did it with a gxe grill... not to bad, I had the mesh in front, I just took it off on saturday and my boys sanding it down and fiberglassing the inside sides where the mid bar was, so i can put the mesh from behind so its kinda recesed. and we might add some angle supports so my front of the car will look like below (with grill and bmw lights(which I may put in this week))
(O O)[ / \ ] (O O)
light^ Grill^ light^

i think the angled supports will look good

I have seen them on ebaymotors. I have also seen them in AutoZone for $33.00. Couldn't tell what size it was, it was high on the shelf, and my short Asian *** couldn't see the writing. I just went and got the gutter gaurds today and painted it green. Might try and install it tomorrow before I drift off into dreamland.

I read on here once before that you have to take the headlights off to get to the screws for the grille. Someone please confirm this cause I am going to do this tomorrow.

no, dont go through all of that. you can just stick a long screw driver through the front of the grill and turn the head on little prong things that hold it on.

i do remember there is at least one that is hard to do this way, but it does work. i think it might be the 2 bottom ones, and the top 2 and the center 2 are pretty easy to do from the back, if you look, you'll see, but they are also the easiest to do from the front.

I don't see the difference between the two, I used gutter mesh, and mine looks fine (at least I think so). It looks the same as some of the "specialty" mesh I've seen. Please correct me if I am wrong...

BTW...you can check my site if you need help with the procedure...

Yeah I don't see the difference either. And the gutter guards are so much cheaper. I paid $1.67 for a 5x30 piece at Lowe's.
