Someone is selling the mesh inserts for a 95-96 Maxima. This is not the actual grill just the mesh part. Any idea how much they cost?

yes, I've seen them for sale. On auctions and what not but what do they go for brand new? I don't want to buy one on Ebay for $40 and then find it from soem dealer for $5.

I think the ones you are referring to are custom made so you probably won't find them anywhere else.

I don't know of any companies that make the mesh inserts especially for the lower valence. The grill off of ebay are made out of rain gutter mesh you can get at any hardware store. Can't be too hard to make yourself.

I think you are misunderstanding

There is no dealer selling them. The ones you see on e-bay are from a fellow who goes to Home Depot, buys the material, cuts them, I think sprays them with weather protectant and sells them to you (with instructions I hope). So, yes they are brand new. Are they over-priced? Who am I to say but I think I saw the material he uses at $3 for a huge sheet of it. But he is doing a service. And if they are closing bid at $40 then that's what people will pay. Me, I'd take a stab at it myself first. Good luck.
