auto air conditioning and heater problems

please help,my 93 gxe will not maintain set temperature and just today the fan blower blows on high only. if you set the temperature at 72 it may omit warm air and then out of no it will blow cold air. i have already tried a differen dash control unit. i know it has a lot sensors and the like but i thought somebody might have an idea.

I am having that same problem and I can't find out wha it is... On mine it also seems to blow out hot air some times down near the feet when the heater and fan are even off.. I would like some advice also....

I can tell you about the heat thing.....no matter what, there's heat coming off of (or from) your engine and the heat has to go somewhere. Usually it will do this in my max by blowly blowing the hot air through the vent VERY slowly just enough where you can feel the heat coming off of it. The solution: Just put the temp selection on something colder that way the heat will dissipate somewhere else instead of into your cockpit.

To block the hot air

it's enough to push OFF all the directional buttons on the AC control panel (as for my car - it helps).
