I have Nissan Maxima SE (year 1993). I bought this car last year. It ran very well till recently. Since two months I am hearing a clattering sound. It was less audible at that time. It looks like it is coming from the Engine. Now the clattering sound is more evident. Has any body faced similar problem..?

Do a search on VTC, you will find your answer. This is a VERY common problem with the Maxima SE VG30DE engine. There are 2 different fixes for it. One is very very cheap and the other very expensive. Do your search, you will see what I mean. Oh, and don't expect too many replies to this post, I think most people in here are tired of talking about the VTC problem.
