intake sensors

what are the 2 sensorson the intake tubing?
one is the mass airflow sensor, is the other one an air temp sensor?
what replaces the air temp in CAI's?

would that other sensor be called an IAT?

damn this is old

the other one is a vent hose for the pcv i guess
are you talkin about an idle air temp sensor?, cuz im really not sure where the thermo is

Ebay mod

i found this mod on ebay that connects to the intake air temperature sensor but i don't know where the sensor is! it also said you can hook it too the coolant temp sensor. If anyone can help.

Is that 'mod' the one I'm thinking of, supposed to be a cheaper alternative to an aftermarket ECU?? If so, it's a rip off (like most things on eBay) and you can get it at Radio Shack for 40 cents. It's just a resistor...

yeah i know that i got the ressitor from a friend who bought it and i have been trying to see if it will make a difference in my performance but i do not know where to put it!
