I was on my way w/ a few buds to dennys at 11, anyway, i got raped by my friends turbo civic, then there was the vr6jetta w/ just exst and chip, that i stayed next to the whole time, then he barely pulled in third. Wel then there was the 00' civic si, ive wanted to race one for a while then finally got the chance. He both only had intake and exst. I got the launch and stayed bout half a car lenght ahead till bout 100, Leave sum replys back so others know what not to mess w/. (save me from embarassment )

How far are you racing? You said 100! Most of the time you race quarter mile. That usually ends in 3rd gear. Did he pull on you before 100? Just wondering

ive never had any problems with any civics, too little torque
turbo i would understand you losing to
anyone go up against any GTI's?

sorry but either i throw up the BS flag or the civic driver can't drive. a modded SI will smoke a VG auto or 5spd. w/intake and exhaust they run low 15's...add headers they're in the 14's. I know the VG pretty well and being that i've worked on a 00 SI and driven one i know the difference in the top ends...SI wins hands down

****ing Civics .....you know what else is funny my friend's 127hp '02 5spd EX ran a high 16.5 with just an intake last sunday at the track.....the Vtec highend power(5spd only) ain't no joke! I think it would take at least I/Y/E to even fathom a VG 5spd keeping up with an SI with I/E(no headers), VG auto forget about it!

yup...VG = toast against any VTEC that's modded...just like my story on 4dsc about the teg running a 15.0 with just I/E. He probably still would've edged me out in the celica...VTEC now if i had I/E it'd be another story

Remember Guys, he said he pulled on the civic after 100mph. The civic won the race, quarter mile if over after 3rd gear. (generally)

nothing about post 100...even if it was after 100 the VG would not pull on an SI. i've had my VG over 100 way too many times to know this

Those civic si's are the fastest things in the world, you can't beat them, especially in a maxima..no way...I'm gonna raise the "lick my butthole" flag on this too..cuz you know...it's so unbelieveable...........what were you thinking.......

haha what the heck, why you guys gotta hate on the vg...

my vg took a few civic si`s, they are fast.. but they are far from able to beat, what is now my broken down vg..

but mostlikely it takes a bad driver of a si to lose to a stock or slightly modded vg.. but when i had my vg modded with bpu, it didnt lose to an SI.

but when i raced an SI when i only had an intake only, i lost

by the way...that boost gauge is only reading atmosphere...might have a lose hose or something....heh
