everytime i race with my 90 gxe, i just can't win. Especially with my friend's accord dx. Provided that all he did have a sport clutch but still shouldn't my v6 be faster then his 4 banger. So does anyone have any ideas in what i can do to make my car go faster.

 

I mean the VG auto isn't a very fast car, but I dunno why you can't beat a DX Accord either, they aren't any faster. maybe you need a tuneup or something......

 

Joint the we need another gear club huh DA-MAX. You brought my attention to that, when you said a while back. "Welcome to the world of those with 1 extra gear" Truth is Maxima_Dumby if you want fast, you need a 5 speed.

A well driven 5spd DX accord should beat a stock VG auto. Then again maybe your car is slow because of its maintence. I know that my 87 max ran even with a 93-97 accord 5spd. I have an idea on how to make it faster but... If you can't spend $1000-1500 don't even bother . But if you do have more than that to spend drop me an email I'll walk you through the steps .

 

I remember that....that POS 5spd CRX walked the hell out of me on the highway...turns out he running like 13's N/a so 5spd or not he would've beat me down without a doubt! I need my boost now!!!!!!!

NA=TRUE jk, it's our anti-boost for now. . . hehehe i bought my turbos. i just gotta buy the expensive stuff now!

 

I know I got beat by a lightly modded CRX at the strip in my max. I only had a CAI but he had I/E. I was running 16.8-16.9s while he would do 16.2-16.5s. I'd jump him off the line and hold him till mid 2nd gear. Basically after 60mph he would pass me and finish about 1-1.5 cars ahead.

 

Everyone needs something to look forward to I guess....
