92 Max vs. Spoon Cicis Would i win?

This kid has a Civic think around 95. He has a spoon engine, full exhaust, intake. Think my 92 SE will take him? I only got a ACT Clutch and short shifter. CAI, UDP, Y-Pipe, Rims, 1,5 ST springs, advance timing, all going in in a the next 2 weeks. Im waiting till it all goes in cause i dont want to lose, prolly puttin money on the race!

Uhh...."Spoon engine"....that tells us nothing...

You're surely not talking about a Spoon crate engine...$12 grand....they're also carburated with 4 individual throttle bodies and tons more goodies....in which case he'd rape you....you sure he knows what he's talking about when he says Spoon engine?...

If anything I bet he's just got like a stocker B16A and is probably running low 15's...

Yes. But be weary, if the kid's got cash you'd be better off takin a look under his hood first. It's only fair you know what you're up against if you're puttin money on it. Don't let him play you a fool...

Bottom line if he has a true spoon engine, he will kick your @$$, if he has a really decked out SI then he's still gonna kick you @$$, your best bet is to get a good look under the hood so you know what you're dealin with, one thing i learned from livin on the east coast, you don't EVER put money on the line without knowing what the other guy is running unless you you are running one truly hellacious ride, and then you have to be ready to lose that money if u wanna run blind...
