well i thought i'd post pics of my interior since i got all these pics scanned tonight. notice the non-existant radio, thats what happens after it gets stolen too many times and your dad refuses to make a claim on the car.

***Smacks your dad*** Go tell him to make a claim, what's a max without a system? A racecar. Wait, or is that just a max with no system? n/m I'll quit my rambling.

$200 deductible. i can get a new head unit for that. besides the rates would go up and since he's paying the insurance, well you know. we put my box and amp in my brothers car for now. sounds even tighter in that since its a hatch.

oh ok good point....I have $500 ded. and my windshield had to be replaced because a rock chip finally expanded and ***gasp*** a crack went all the way across. Man, windshields are expensive! But now I can see!

I take my subs out when I hit the strip. But I don't go very often because the nearest strip is more than 100 miles away from here. So I usually have the subs "kickin".

2 Ground Zero Radioactive Subs
1200W running them (bridged)

Poweracustik 6x9's in the back, 5 1/4" in doors, 3/4" supertweeters in upper doors (custom built-in).
300W running back
300W running front

Crappy SONY head unit.

james I'll take a pict and post when I have time...probably tomorrow or wed. cause I'm going "home" to texas (longview/tyler area) for thanksgiving from thurs to monday. Maybe I'll see somebody? Hmmm...Oh well, I'll be driving my parents monstrous Ford (ahh he said domestic!) E150 conversion van with theextended roof thingy. It's 8 feet tall, 13 feet long, has a 7.3 liter V-10 engine (with 390hp and 450 ft lb!) and weighs 11,000 lbs. I can post a picture of this too if anyone wants. On the "labor" post where I posted the picts of my stainless exhaust, you can see part of the VAN sitting in the garage. I am still trying to figure out how in the hell they put a V-10 engine into a space that looks like it would be hard to fit a riceburner into. The price (when new) for this monstrosity you ask? Well, 70 g's, roughly. The price now (1.5 years later) about $50K...talk about sh!tty resale value! So If you see a tank rolling down the road with Nebraska License plates, it's me!

Re: oops wrong pic

any of you guys ever hear of good taste??? I'm kidding, you get to a point though were there's just too much eye candy. i dunno guys, i like the white alot, but pearlmax, dude, there's alot of stuff in that interior. also, doesn't that bother you not being able to see your gauges? also, does pre 92 maxes redline at 6grand???? that's crazy. Mine will get to 7,000 before it bounces off the rev limiter.

you really think there's to much pant, i added more i just didn't take a pic of it

you have to see it in person it looks really good i'm not even done yet. and as for the guages you get used to it, i don't feel right if i'm driving my mom's car. maybe i'll put a sticker on her guages too.

perlmax, why didnt you paint the top part of the dash thingy? the one that goes around the gauge cluster? seems like if you painted everthing else you'd want to paint that too. and you have way more than me!

Dude...you should add some performance mods to that thing. I saw your car at the Albany meet a few weeks back, cut down on the paint man! How's that jet engine project coming along?
Seriously, listen to Neel, your car is very close to riceboy style. Looks has to be backed up by power.

See ya,
Roman

I like the color of the dash, but there IS too much going on there. I'd loose the gauge casing, the license plate, and a few other rice-boy items. It looks like you're trying too hard. the max is a worlf in sheeps clothing not a civic for a 16 year old.

there's not that much paint, i don't care it looks good to me so thats all that matte

i painted the dash because i wanted to, and i don't feel like making my car faster yet. i do things because i want to not because everyone else is doing it and its the cool thing. when the car looks the way i want it to then i'll do proformance. 3 kids i knew from school just died in a car accedent and i'm not in a rush to join them. my maxima is fast enough there's nothing but civics and integra's where i live and i have no problem beating them. and James92SE you do have more paint than me, i have alot more pictures than you. thats might be why it seems like alot it really isn't.

the paint is abit too much but the white seems to be too bright for me.

I d get annoyed easily by it being right there where I see the gauges and the stereo. I t looks good but I think itd hurt my eyes after a while.
