well it's springtime. I just ran my first autox. and i need shocks!!!!! I was gonna do it before winter. people probably remember all the annoying questions and stuff.
but anyway, one quick question on the konis. we just put a set on my buddy's CRX and they're infinitely adjustable. aren't 3rd gen konis only 5 turns or something like that? anyway, i was wondering what you had them set on. i was thinking of setting the fronts at like 3.5 and the rear at 4. assuming there's only 5 turns. with the sway bars i've got some understeer so i wanted to stiffen up the rear of the car to try to get a little oversteer. i'm just wondering what everyone has theirs set at.

Settings
The adjustment range is 5 HALF turns.
I have my fronts on, but rears not yet (time issue).
The fronts are in Tok housings, which are a nuance too large in diameter, so I'll have to redo them.
I set the fronts on two half turns from the softests setting, which I like. When re-installing them, I'll set them three.
I am running Eibachs with these, so to keep it balanced, and not too bouncy in the rear, I plan to set the rear at two turns.
I don't have the facility to consistly check handling and it is too much work to change them. I am not sure changing the settings will change understeer characteristics. A sway bar will, because it affects how one wheel behaves relative to the other. The shocks affect both sides equally. If you do a .8 G turn around a circular (smooth) track, the shock will compress the same amount on the softest or the hardest setting. Now if the same track is bumpy, the handling will change noticeably, but that is not how you dial in understeer.
Anyway, when I am done, three half turns in the front, two in the rear.
