3rd gen trannys...

Is it me or are the 3rd gen max auto trannys really built like the horse's a$$? Lately theres been like XX,XXX complaints/posts in this forum about dying trannys or tranny problems. I have 101k miles and do alot of stop and go mainly under 55 mph driving to/from school and work and BSing around the town; and my auto shifts properly and very well. The only flaws ive noticed/experienced is the hesitaion shifting into D from P, N or R. I hope i dont see it ready to crap out on me soon...Is there a certain known problem with them or were they just simply built carelessly?

improved design/parts...I've heard rumor of them using Raybestos "green" internals(clutches, bands, etc.)....
