Need Opinions......

Dont flame but i am having a hard deciding on a new for my turbo project.. i am soon to be getting rid of my 91 se auto

and for to run with a turbo setup what would you go with...


vg - and have less stock power but able to run higher boost

ve - and have more stock power and vlsd but not able to run as much boost.

why can't you run as much boost on a VE?

compression issues aside, it all comes down to tuning.

IMO the VG is a little easier, considering the manifolds and crossover already exist and bolt-on....then all you have to do is fab the charge piping to the TB or(if using an IC) charge through the IC to TB. VG compression is perfect for boost too, 9:1! but if you turbo a VE I guess technically you'll be the second one.....either way both cars have potential.
