Slick 50 --- Yes Or No??

I bought a Slick 50 kit form Costco in 1996. It sat sealed in my Garage like so many other things from Costco. I found it yesterday. Question is:
My max (93 GXE) doesn't quite have the acceleration it used to . It's still decent, but nothing to write home about. Should I slick 50 my system? Pros/Cons. Is the Age of my package of concern? Anybody tried this?

Thanks

Ask yourself this. Would you put a product inside your engine from a company that's currently being investigated by the FTC?

If you still confused, just do a search on Slick 50 on the internet and get back to us.

Good thing I didn't

Good thing I didn't do it. I just got my 89 Max and was thinking about putting in some super fancy motor oil and stuff in it... you people are good examples to keep me away from trouble... not that I'm happy that you're having problems...well, anyway

this engine obviously isn't indestructable, but the guys here TRY to kill them through their driving.. if you just maintain it per Nissan's recommendations (regular oil changes, timing belt and sensor replacement schedules, etc), then these engines will run nearly forever.

I have over 170k on mine currently.. there are many others that are well past 200k miles with no problems whatsoever. take care of it and it'll last a good long time.

as for motor oil, don't waste your time with $10/quart "miracle oil". they run great on Castrol GTX when changed at correct intervals (about 5k if you don't beat on the car).
