Does anyone know what the heck is a Brougham Maxima? And how does the Brougham compare to the SE and GXE?

How come the US never gets the good cars??????? Most of the imports are extremely detuned or just not attractive enough when compared with cars over in asia and europe. Heck even the new skyline that is coming over here is nowhere close to the skyline in japan. WHY WHY WHY???????????????????

Uhhh, a Brougham model is simply a GXE with the comfort/convenience package crap.. sunroof, leather, auto climate control, abs, etc..

nothing that wasn't available here.

Oh really? Sure about that?

The Brougham is basically a fully loaded GXE. Trim might be a bit snazzier and some of the options juggling might be different but that's probably it. Probably had sonar suspension and stuff like that I imagine (never actually got a close look at one).

Oh yeah, and I wouldn't complain too much about the US's choice of autos. We didn't get the original Sentra SE-R ( ) but we DID get the Micra!

Oh yeah, Chris, I think you're thinking about the poor Aussies and New Zealanders!

I live in Toronto Canada and recently bought a 92 SE with the VE engine. Although when I was getting my tranny oil changed to Red Line at a high performance shop, the mechanic told me he had never seen one with a VE.

The Brougham is fully loaded GXE with all the luxo toys.

Also, if I'm not mistaken, the Brougham version has headlight washers. Bastards! How come we usually get screwed in the US?! The Cefiro is a great example. Who in the hell WOULDN'T want a rwd turbo sedan!
